making your franking machine count

at · 6 Comments

Hopefully by now you've got your franking machine from themailingroom.com and taken the shiny beast out of its box.
Now how do you get the most from your machine?
Firstly are you fully aware of all the discounts available from the Royal Mail? You get at least 2 pence on every item of post sent - also cleanmail is available on the ultimail, centormail and opti 30 - this can offer you a further saving of a whopping extra 11 % on all your mailshots!

Still want more? add weighing scales and make absolutely sure you are not overpricing your items or indeed underpricing and having to pay Royal Mail excess charges.

All these savings and we haven't even mentioned the hidden benefits. How much more of a professional image is it to put a frank on your post rather than a collection of stamps.Free advertising on the outside of the envelope and a free return address.

Finally and maybe the best of the lot- office morale!!!! how much more will your staff love you for not having to trudge down the post office in the pouring rain and not having to spend their afternnoons licking and sticking ( lets face it that glue is made from boiled down animals!!)

I made my franking machine count!
I am sending out up to 100 letters per day and have saved lots of time by not having to go to the post office. In total I save £3 a day by using a franking machine. It has been very useful.

As well as all of the benefits of using a franking machine has it is also easy to reset your postage by using a modem connected to Teleset. Teleset resets your postage within 30 seconds which enables you to continue franking your post quickly and efficiently.

As postal authorities around the world are deregulating and liberalising, FP are working with the posts and the market to meet the challenges and the opportunities of the new environment.
